Students must arrive at Georgetown’s Main Campus (3700 O St. NW, Washington, D.C.) 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 15. There is no room for guests in the assembly rooms.
In the event of severe weather, students must report to the McDonough Arena tent by 1:15 p.m. for robing and assembly.

Commencement Ceremony Instructions—Thursday, may 15
Robing & Assembly: 1:15 p.m. in White-Gravenor Hall (WGR) or the Intercultural Center (ICC) as indicated below.
Procession: 2:30 p.m. Guests should be seated by this time.
Ceremony Time: 3:00 p.m., Healy Lawn
Reception: 5:00 p.m. in the reception site indicated in the table below.

- Report to your program line-up room, as indicated in the chart below.
- Bring your cap, gown, hood, and tassel ONLY – there is no storage for additional items on Commencement day. Items left in the rooms will be brought to Lost & Found.
- SCS staff will guide you as you process from your line-up room to Healy Lawn.

Reception: 5:00 p.m. in the reception site indicated in the table below.

- Check scs.georgetown.edu or call (202) 687-7669 to see if the ceremony has been moved inside.
- Proceed directly to the check-in tables to receive your seat assignment. Please stay in your seat until asked to stand for the procession.
- Graduates will not enter the Arena with their guests, and guests will not be allowed to enter without a ticket.
- If the ceremony moves inside, graduates will be offered two guest tickets. Guests must print Marching Order severe weather tickets or display them on a mobile device in order to enter the Arena. Ticketed guests should look for directions on-site.
- Please note: Depending on capacity, we may be able to offer additional ticket(s); if so, please keep an eye out for an announcement on Tuesday, May 6.
